Nalgonda: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi district unit slammed the Congress government over the poor services being provided to patients at the Government General Hospital in the district.

Former MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy visited the Government General Hospital here on Saturday. He inquired with patients about the medical services being provided at the hospital.

The X-ray department remained closed even after 10 am. The former MLA expressed his displeasure over the conduct of the staff.

Patients arriving from distant areas were facing significant hardships. The hospital staff was negligent in performing their duties, he said.

He questioned the lack of adherence to scheduled timings at the hospital. Medical officers and staff reported late for duty, and they should ensure better medical services for patients, the former MLA demanded.

He criticised the Congress government for failing to provide adequate facilities at the government hospital. Stating that the district hospital lacked even basic necessities, he demanded that the government respond and take appropriate action.
