Telangana man dies by suicide as wife lives apart for 10 months
Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man died by suicide in Bhadradri Kothagudem on Friday, November 6, after his wife allegedly stayed away from him for 10 months.
The incident occurred at Nagaram Colony in Palvancha Mandal, where Bhanoth Ramu took the extreme step. According to reports, Ramu’s family said that he married Shailja 10 years ago and that the couple have two sons, aged eight and five.
Shailaja and her children have been staying at her mother’s house for the past 10 months following an alleged dispute between the couple. Ramu, the only son of his parents, was reportedly depressed over being lonely and ended his life on Friday evening.
After being alerted, the Palvancha police reached the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem. A case of suspicious death has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
