Big news about Pakistani actress Sajal Aly, insider spills beans
Islamabad: Pakistani actress Sajal Aly has left fans excited with the announcement of her upcoming drama Lahu, which was expected to reunite her with popular actor Bilal Abbas Khan. However, a fresh development has now raised questions about her involvement in the much-awaited project.
Sajal Aly quits Pakistani drama Lahu?
Pakistani entertainment commentator and drama critic Dr Ejaz Waris has claimed that Sajal Aly has quit Geo Entertainment’s upcoming drama Lahu, which also features Hamza Ali Abbasi and Bilal Abbas Khan.
In an Instagram video, Waris shared the update but refrained from revealing the reason behind her reported exit. He also claimed that the makers are now looking for a new female lead.
The drama was particularly anticipated as it was expected to mark Sajal and Bilal’s fourth on-screen collaboration. The two last shared screen space in the 2021 film Khel Khel Mein.
Waris also recalled that Sajal had reportedly left another project, Laila Majnu, for Lahu, and questioned what the actress might take up next.
