Build, scale, and govern AI agents: Inside Google Cloud’s Gemini roadmap

Lean teams rarely lack ambition. What they lack is the headcount to turn it into production-ready AI, from the engineers who build agents to the security staff who keep them in check.
That is the gap Google Cloud’s next webinar, in partnership with YourStory, is built to address. On October 30, Google Cloud product leaders will present ‘The Gemini roadmap’, a briefing on the latest GeminiAI updates, including the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience.
Tailored for lean organizations, the session looks at how AI can act as a true force multiplier for a team. Drawing on the 2026 Gemini roadmap, attendees will gain the proven ROI frameworks and technical deep-dives needed to stay agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
The briefing is split into two sessions, each built for a different audience.
Build, scale, and govern agents with the Agent Platform
The first session is best suited to technical leaders and developers. It will explore the latest features of the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, which combines Google’s leading AI research with secure, global infrastructure so teams can build, scale, and manage agents that actually work in production. The idea is a secure, all-in-one platform for the entire agent lifecycle, a digital ‘extra set of hands’ that handles complex workflows reliably.
Attendees will get to see how to build quickly with the Agent Development Kit (ADK), launch agents into production through a fully managed, integrated runtime, and use Agent Gateway and Agent Identity to manage permissions and security without a massive security team. The session will also cover automatically applying and enforcing security policies as deployments grow, and making agents accessible to every employee through the Gemini app.
Three Google Cloud product leaders will present this session: Jamie de Guerre, Senior Director, Product Management, Cloud AI; Shubham Saboo, Senior AI Product Manager; and Dmitry Pimenov, Director, Product Management, Gemini
Unify the customer journey with Gemini for customer experience
The second session is aimed at business leaders focused on customer experience. It will start from a familiar frustration: disconnected apps and missed customer opportunities, when every interaction counts, from the first inquiry to the final checkout. Attendees will witness how to build AI agents that handle the heavy lifting and provide natural, helpful support across the entire customer journey.
This segment is for leaders ready to move past basic chatbots. It will show how the same technology used by global brands to double their efficiency can be put to work for a growing team. Gemini 3.1 Live Audio gives a brand a natural voice that resolves issues through fluid conversation rather than rigid menus. A smart context engine remembers what the customer said three steps ago, so they never have to repeat themselves. Automated insights identify customer trends instantly, helping teams improve service with every call, while enterprise-grade privacy keeps business and customer data under their exclusive control.
This session will be led by Ali Rana, Director of Product for Applied AI at Google Cloud, who will conduct the Customer Experience session.
Why this matters
For lean organizations, the next stage of AI adoption is less about experimentation and more about execution: shipping agents that hold up in production, keeping them secure, and delivering customer support that feels natural rather than scripted. A massive engineering or security department is not something every lean team has.
This webinar is designed to show that it does not have to be a prerequisite. By pairing a technical view of the Agent Platform with a business view of customer experience, it gives both builders and decision-makers a clear picture of what is coming and how to put it to work.
