Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Traffic Police have announced traffic diversions around IIIT Junction and DLF Road in Gachibowli for a period of 90 days starting from October 27, in view of flyover development works.

Officials said commuters may experience congestion in and around IIIT Junction during the construction period.

Traffic Diversions and Alternative Routes:

Traffic travelling from Radisson Hotel Junction towards IIIT Junction will be allowed up to DLF Gate No 1, beyond which movement will be restricted. Commuters should take the alternative route via Gachibowli Junction, take a right turn towards Indiranagar and proceed through IIIT Junction.

Similarly, employees of TCS operating through the Non-SEZ (CMC) gate will be allowed to enter and exit the premises through their regular Non-SEZ gate.

Also, vehicles coming from the Lingampally side towards DLF Road will be diverted at Gachibowli Traffic PS. Commuters should proceed via IIIT Junction, Gachibowli Junction and take a left turn at Radisson Junction to reach DLF Road.

The traffic police stated that flyover development works may continue for at least one year, potentially causing congestion in the surrounding areas.

Regular commuters, particularly IT employees, have been advised to use alternative routes and plan their journeys in advance to avoid delays.
