Hyderabad: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has lodged a police complaint against individuals for allegedly filming reels while dancing to songs from the movie Pushpa in front of the Srivari Temple in Tirumala.

According to reports, a man and a woman filmed reels while dancing to songs from the movie in front of the temple, prompting the TTD management to lodge a complaint with the Tirumala I Town Police Station.

The temple management has also initiated disciplinary action against staff members found negligent in discharging their duties during the incident.

Taking serious note of the incident, the TTD management reiterated that filming reels and videos was strictly prohibited in the temple surroundings and Mada Streets.

It warned that strict legal action would be taken against individuals who violate the restrictions and disturb the sanctity of the temple. The TTD management also appealed to devotees to cooperate with the authorities in preserving the sanctity of the sacred shrine.
