Fintech company Pine Labs reported a 6.5x rise in net profit to Rs 38.6 crore in the second quarter of FY27, while revenue grew 24% year-on-year to Rs 806 crore.

The fintech company's net profit stood at Rs 6 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, while revenue was Rs 650 crore.

"Q2 was an all-round quarter - growth across acceptance and issuing, 15% of revenues from global markets, and 14% from products launched only in the last two years," said Amrish Rau, CEO, Pine Labs.

According to Pine Labs, it now processes more than 25 million transactions a day across businesses, up from over 22% on a year-on-year basis.

Pine Labs said its online payments business grew by over 45% year-on-year, while gross transaction value (GTV) rose 140%, driven by expansion into agentic commerce, cross-border payments, small and medium businesses (SMBs), and government segments.

In its international business, which spans more than 22 markets, revenue from Southeast Asia (SEA) grew by around 40% year-on-year, while its UAE business crossed one lakh daily transactions, the company said.

Pine Labs also said AI agents now contribute to around 89% of code changes. The company plans to reinvest the resulting efficiency gains into new products, geographies and categories while maintaining a strong EBITDA profile.

According to Pine Labs it is stepping up brand investments to position itself as the default commerce infrastructure for the global south.

"The opportunity set in front of us is widening, not narrowing," said Rau. "A wider set of new products this quarter, 10 lakh soundboxes committed over the medium term, agentic commerce live on a top Indian marketplace, and a UPI monetisation window opening up — this is the time to build.”
