TVS Motor Company sold 7,00,134 vehicles in October 2026 as electric two-wheeler sales jumped 120 per cent and exports climbed 51 per cent

TVS Motor Company recorded 7,00,134 units in October 2026 as its volumes rose 29 per cent from 5,43,557 units a year earlier. The two-wheeler business naturally supplied the bulk of the monthly tally at 6,70,679 units as sales increased 28 per cent from 5,25,150 units in October 2025. The domestic business also moved higher as two-wheeler sales reached 5,14,764 units, compared to 4,21,631 units last year.

The electric two-wheeler business posted the sharpest increase in the monthly data. TVS sold 71,382 electric scooters in October as volumes rose 120 per cent from 32,387 units a year ago. The result came only months after the one-millionth TVS iQube rolled out from the Hosur plant in June 2026. As the iQube customer base grew further, TVS later introduced the MillionR Edition to celebrate one million owners.

The international business also advanced strongly during October. TVS dispatched 1,75,350 vehicles to overseas marketsas sales rose 51 per cent from 1,15,806 units in the corresponding month last year. Two-wheeler exports reached 1,55,915 units from 1,03,519 units previously. The three-wheeler business also posted a sharp increase as sales climbed 60 per cent to 29,455 units from 18,407 units.

The Apache series added another major achievement to TVS performance motorcycle business this year. The range crossed seven million global customers in July 2026, around a year after reaching six million sales. Introduced in 2005, Apache now serves riders across 90 countries. The global community has crossed 5,00,000 registered members as motorcycles such as the RTR 160, RTR 200 4V, RTR 310 and RR 310 have helped build the nameplate across different performance segments.

The Jupiter family has reached an even larger cumulative customer base. TVS confirmed in August 2026 that the scooter had crossed nine million customers after passing seven million sales in January 2025. The range now covers both 110 cc and 125 cc segments. As Jupiter sales rose over the years, the scooter became one of the major contributors to TVS domestic volumes. The nine-million achievement came in the same year as the iQube one-million-customer milestone.

The company also posted 16.31 lakh units during Q1 FY27, its highest quarterly tally. Electric two-wheeler sales reached 1.30 lakh units during the quarter before the October EV figure moved past 71,000 units for the month.
