Fire breaks out at women’s hostel in Hyderabad’s Nacharam
Hyderabad: A fire broke out at Sri Lakshmi Ladies Hostel in Savarkar Nagar under the Nacharam police station limits on Tuesday, November 3, triggering panic among residents.
The fire erupted due to a short circuit and quickly spread, causing concern among residents in the surrounding area. After being alerted, fire personnel rushed to the spot and launched an operation to douse the flames.
The firefighters managed to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading further. The incident caused panic in the locality, though details about any injuries or casualties were not immediately available.
The exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are yet to be ascertained. Speaking to Siasat.com, Telangana Fire Department officials said, “The fire broke out at 9:40 PM due to a short circuit, and one fire engine was deployed to douse it.”
