The Hero Scrambler Concept previews a premium motorcycle influenced by Dakar rally development and retro-inspired styling
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the Scrambler Concept at EICMA 2026 as an early preview of a premium motorcycle idea under development. The motorcycle appeared in Milan as Hero celebrated 25 consecutive years as the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer. Hero links the concept to Dakar competition knowledge and Indian artistic influences, but no production plan has been announced yet.
The front three-quarter view shows a tall stance centred around a round headlamp carrying an H-shaped light signature. A small smoked flyscreen sits above the lamp, and red hand guards flank the wide handlebar. The front also uses a high red mudguard, long fork guards and a gold-finished wire-spoke wheel. Block-pattern tyres complete the front-end treatment.
The fuel tank uses bright red side sections, striped graphics and a black upper panel that extends towards the cockpit. A metal platform sits above the tank and resembles a compact utility rack. The cockpit image also shows a circular digital instrument console behind the flyscreen. The layout keeps the dashboard compact despite the additional rack and wind protection.

The side view exposes a black trellis-style chassis, large radiator and substantial engine protection underneath. Silver side panels sit beneath a brown ribbed seat, creating a clear contrast against the red tank. The motorcycle also uses a narrow centre section, short rear body and gold wire-spoke wheels at both ends. The block-pattern tyres reinforce its mixed-surface design theme.
The rear three-quarter image shows a high-set tail, compact circular rear lamp and minimal rear mudguard arrangement. A large exhaust runs low along the right side before rising near the rear wheel. A rear disc brake is also visible. The compact tail and exposed rear section keep the back of the motorcycle visually uncluttered.

Hero says the Scrambler Concept draws inspiration from Hero MotoSports Team Rally and Dakar competition work. The company has not disclosed the engine, gearbox, suspension travel, braking specification or electronics. The round lamp, ribbed seat, exposed chassis, utility rack and block-pattern tyres separate the concept visually from the Xpulse 450 despite the shared rally influence.
Hero has not confirmed a launch date or final mechanical specification for the Scrambler Concept. The EICMA motorcycle previews another premium design theme outside the established Xpulse family and shows how Hero could approach a future scrambler-style motorcycle. The gold wire-spoke wheels, compact bodywork, high mudguard, tank rack and Dakar reference establish the visual character of the concept shown in Milan.
