Nissan Offers Free CNG Retrofitment On Magnite & Gravite This Festive Season

The limited time scheme waives CNG retrofitment charges worth up to Rs. 85,999 on eligible Nissan Magnite and Gravite variants until November 16

Nissan Motor India has announced a festive offer that removes the CNG retrofitment charge on selected Magnite and Gravite variants until November 16, 2026. The benefit is worth Rs. 74,999 on the Magnite and Rs. 85,999 on the Gravite. The latter uses a twin-cylinder CNG arrangement comprising two cylinders of 25 litres capacity.

The Japanese brand developed the layout to retain the seven-seat configuration and preserve more usable space around the rear section compared to a regular large single-cylinder installation. The Gravite CNG kit originally arrived in May 2026 at Rs. 82,999 and its current listed price stands at Rs. 85,999.

The retrofitment system is developed, manufactured and quality assured by Motozen. The Gravite setup uses a sequential BS6.2-compliant CNG system, ICAT certification, 8.1 mm cylinder wall thickness and Dynamic Advancer tech. The filler is positioned under the fuel lid and the vehicle can switch between petrol and CNG operation through the installed system.

The Magnite scheme applies to selected non-turbo versions as Visia MT, Visia EZ-Shift and Visia + MT are excluded. Eligible Gravite Tekna variants qualify for the Rs. 85,999 benefit while the Magnite carries the lower Rs. 74,999 retrofitment value. The government approved CNG kits carry a third party warranty of three years or 1,00,000 km in addition to the standard vehicle warranty.

Nissan also offers the Gravite CNG setup across 60 cities in 16 states through authorised dealers. The Magnite’s retrofitment price encompasses the CNG kit, cylinder installation, CNG gas, RTO endorsement, insurance endorsement and third party warranty charges. The Gravite uses a higher value conversion because of its twin-cylinder setup and seven-seat packaging.

Nissan has structured both conversions as dealer fitted systems backed by the applicable third-party warranty. The festive offer comes as part of Nissan pushing CNG availability across two of its most affordable models in India. The Magnite currently starts at Rs. 5.69 lakh while Gravite prices start at Rs. 5.73 lakh (both ex-showroom).
