Hyderabad: Want a free meal? Your outfit could be the key

Halloween is usually about spooky costumes, scary masks and sweet treats. But what if you could add a free meal to your Halloween plans this year?

California Burrito has come up with a fun offer for October 31, giving Hyderabad food lovers another reason to dress up and head out.

The Mexican food chain is offering a free mini burrito or mini bowl to customers who visit its dine-in outlets wearing a Halloween costume. The offer, called ‘CaliBOO’, lets customers celebrate Halloween while enjoying a meal without spending money on it.

Customers can choose between a mini burrito and a mini bowl. No purchase is required, making this an interesting option for food lovers looking for a budget friendly Halloween outing.

Whether you want to dress up as a ghost, vampire, witch or your favourite movie character, this could be a fun way to celebrate the occasion with friends.

Regular clothes will not count as costumes

Before planning your outfit, remember a few important conditions. Simply wearing a black T-shirt, shirt or regular clothes will not qualify as a Halloween costume.

According to the terms shared in the promotional posts, the restaurant team will decide whether an outfit qualifies. The offer is valid only for the person wearing the costume. Friends who accompany them will not receive a free meal unless they are also dressed up.

Each eligible person can claim one free meal. The offer is valid for dine-in only on October 31, 2026. Takeaway and delivery are not included in the announced offer.

A fun Halloween plan for Hyderabad foodies

Halloween is a great excuse to plan themed outings, experiment with creative costumes and try something different with friends. For food lovers, the CaliBOO offer combines all three without spending on the meal itself.

You can make the outing more enjoyable by coordinating costumes with friends and clicking pictures together. However, check with your nearest California Burrito outlet about participation and offer availability before visiting.

So, get your Halloween costumes ready and head to California Burrito on October 31. With a spooky outfit and a free meal waiting, this could be a fun Halloween treat for Hyderabad foodies.
