Hyundai Records Highest-Ever Monthly Sales In October 2026 – Venue Sets New Record

GaadiWaadi -
Hyundai sales reached a record 82,299 units in October 2026 as Venue posted its best-ever monthly domestic tally at 13,017 units
Hyundai Motor India ended October 2026 with its highest monthly volume on record, supported by a new sales peak for the Venue and higher overseas shipments. The company recorded 82,299 units across domestic and export operations, representing a 17.7 per cent year-on-year increase. Festive-season purchases contributed to the domestic performance during one of the busiest periods of the Indian automotive calendar.
Venue became a major contributor to the October result. Hyundai sold 13,017 units of the compact SUV in India, its highest monthly domestic volume since launch. The model accounted for about one-fifth of Hyundai sales in the Indian market during the month, giving the company another individual model record alongside its overall sales peak.
Domestic dispatches stood at 62,799 units, an increase of 16.7 per cent over October 2025. India therefore accounted for roughly 76 per cent of Hyundai total monthly volume. The record came during the festive period, when the company benefited from elevated retail activity across its passenger vehicle portfolio.

Exports added another 19,500 units to the October tally and increased 21.1 per cent year-on-year. Overseas shipments represented close to 24 per cent of Hyundai total sales and recorded a faster rate of increase than the domestic business. Hyundai Motor India supplies vehicles to several overseas markets from its manufacturing operations in the country, giving exports a substantial share of its monthly output.
Hyundai has also added the Bayon to its product programme. The new model is planned for India and more than 50 export markets, adding another product to the company international business from its Indian manufacturing base. Its overseas role is particularly relevant after exports recorded the highest percentage increase among Hyundai October sales categories.

The October result also demonstrates the difference between Hyundai domestic and overseas volumes. Indian sales exceeded exports by 43,299 units, but shipments outside the country grew at a quicker year-on-year rate. Domestic sales contributed nearly three out of every four vehicles in the monthly total, leaving exports as the smaller but faster-growing part of the business during October.
Venue performance adds another data point to Hyundai SUV sales in India. At 13,017 units, the compact SUV contributed approximately 20.7 per cent of the company domestic tally for the month. Its record volume came alongside Hyundai best-ever domestic result, placing the model among the key contributors during the festive sales period.

October 2026 now stands as Hyundai Motor India highest-volume month on record. The new peak was supported by record domestic sales, faster export growth and the strongest monthly performance recorded by Venue in the Indian market. Bayon will add another model to the company India and export portfolio as Hyundai heads into the final months of the calendar year.
