The Hero Classic Concept uses vintage-inspired bodywork, handcrafted detailing and an exposed mechanical layout

Hero MotoCorp has brought in a brand new concept which has created plenty of buzz amongst enthusiasts. Dubbed the Classic Concept, it has been unveiled at EICMA 2026 and acts as a preview of another premium motorcycle idea which could be under development. The concept appeared alongside the Scrambler Concept and draws inspiration from India’s artistic heritage, craftsmanship and timeless motorcycle design.

It features a large rounded headlamp inside a gold-finished nacelle. An H-shaped LED signature sits inside the lamp while polished metal fork shrouds frame the front end. Blue-painted fork legs, chrome mudguards and wire-spoke wheels define the front section. In addition, brown grips and a gold brake-fluid reservoir add smaller material details around the handlebar.

The fuel tank uses polished metal over much of its surface – bordered by deep blue sections and ornate gold panels on either side. Meanwhile, the engraved-looking inserts carry floral-style patterns and a brown leather strip runs along the tank centre towards the rider seat. The same brown finish appears on the long leather saddle which gets diamond-pattern stitching on its upper section.

The side profile exposes much of the mechanical structure under the bodywork. The engine uses polished metallic covers and gold finished cooling fins while blue painted structural sections connect the front, centre and rear portions of the motorcycle. A long chrome exhaust runs low along the right side and finishes near the rear wheel. The bodywork sits close to the engine and gives the motorcycle a low and elongated profile.

The rear shows a compact circular tail lamp mounted centrally on the blue rear mudguard. The leather seat narrows towards the back and sits directly above the rear wheel. Twin rear suspension units are visible on either side in blue, silver and gold finishes. In addition, the wire-spoke rear wheel, narrow tyre and chrome trim mirror the visual treatment used at the front.

The cockpit uses a small circular instrument display ahead of the handlebar and the screen shows a blue radial graphic around its centre. The metallic blue handlebar is held by exposed polished clamps. The sparse arrangement leaves the tank, headlamp and fork assembly as the dominant visual elements around the rider area.

The Classic Concept is a unique design theme when compared to Hero’s production-spec Xpulse 450 and Scrambler Concept. Polished metal, engraved gold details, leather trim, wire-spoke wheels and a low-slung profile make it a stunning looker. But more importantly, we do expect a neo-retro offering from Hero somewhere down the line to take on entry-level 350 cc REs.
